ENGLISH NAME: PACIFIC SAURY, ALSO KNOWN AS: MACKEREL PIKE, SANMA SCIENTIFIC NAME: COLOLABIS SAIRA
Pacific saury has fatty and fleshy meat with a rich flavor AND is considered as a high nutritious fish because it’s rich in omega-3 fatty acids. It is a highly migrated fish and can be found from Alaska sea to Japan sea. The main catching season for pacific saury is from summer to autumn in Northwest Pacific Ocean.
